Expensive but a great set of tools.
If you need these tools, it is hard to find a more complete set elsewhere. It will take a while to learn them because there are so many things they can do, but the programs are reasonably stable and amazingly powerful.
Pros
It's hard not to love all the programs in the Autodesk Media and Entertainment Collection. I use Maya, Arnold, and Motion builder the most but have dabbled with Recap as well. The collection is a great suite of tools for 3D work providing capabilities in photogrammetry to 3D Modelling and rendering. Motion Builder alone is a fantastic tool for taking mocap data and applying it to characters. Quite simply, it has some of the most full-featured cleanup tools I have ever used, and in Story mode the blending between motions is exceptional. Of course, Studio Max and Maya are industry staples for the gaming and film industry so there is something for everyone. Mudbox and Maya and MotionBuilder are industry standard tools.
Cons
he price is high. They should give you the option not to get Studio Max and Maya and instead pick one. Those two programs are redundant and do almost the same thing. It doesn't make sense that you have to pay for both in your subscription. I prefer the buy-and-use-forever model to the subscription-based plans.
